I was fat, way fatter than I ever wanted to be. I got lazy, I liked food, I blamed my schedule, I liked food - a cycle destined to increase my waist. In March, I decided to try and lose some weight, motivated by the thought of a great friend's wedding in Ireland in April. I lost 13 pounds in that first week. I had three more weeks before the wedding - when the world was changed by Covid-19. For me, it meant no travel and it meant all my excuses (have to entertain clients, too much time traveling to go to the gym, inability to cook every meal myself) went out the window. And thankfully, so did the weight!!


This photo was taken on April 19th - which should have been the time I was returning from Ireland. I had lost 27 pounds at this point.
